It is right outside of Ocean Shores - a cute little beach town.
The casino is tempting considering that the only way into the hotel is through the casino areas but it can be avoided. The hotel is connected to the Casino and some really good restaurants. I didn't see the staff much but definately felt safe since there are cameras everywhere. Schedule ahead for your massage - they have a mini spa for average spa rates. Our room, location and delcious seafood restaurant dinner was worth it though. I guess for the term 'resort' I expected something fancier.
Just a pool with a little hot tub-nothing fancy. The pool area was a bit sparse - okay really sparse. It was exceptionally clean and well kept up. It was just you and the sand dunes and the water - very peaceful! Our room was gigantic and full of charm. Small deck that overlooked the ocean The view was PERFECT! It was directly on the beach with nothing blocking your way. There was a fireplace separating the room with a little living area on the other side. We had a suite on the top floor and the room was gorgeous! We had a large very comfortable bed - best I've slept on in a hotel.
